Travis Scott debuted a new single reportedly called “Escape Plan” during his Saturday (July 24) set at Rolling Loud Miami. The Houston native teased the track earlier in the day on Instagram, sharing what appeared to be a snippet from the song’s forthcoming music video.

“SOME ONE ASK ME HOW IM STARTING TONIGHT OFF IMA MAKING A ESCAPE. WHOS READYYY. I WANT THE RAGE TONIGHT,” he captioned the clip.

“Escape Plan” is reportedly a song off Scott’s upcoming fourth studio album, Utopia. The rapper has been promoting the record since last June, but has yet to announce an official release date.

“It’s feeling like a progression from Astroworld. I’m starting to shape a new soundscape, it’s pretty interesting,” he told Variety about Utopia earlier this year. “I’m just growing from where I left off and taking it to an untouchable height.”

“I’m totally working on an album — I definitely care more about making albums than just dropping songs,” he added. “I like dropping songs as much as I wanna drop them, but I love albums — I grew up on them.”

Scott released Astroworld in 2018, followed by his compilation project Jackboys in 2019. This April, he teamed up with Baby Keem for their single, “Durag Activity.”

Scott is also one of the artists allegedly featured on Kanye West’s forthcoming album, Donda. West held a massive listening party for the record last week, during which fans heard Scott’s voice on a song called “Praise God.” Donda was slated for release last Friday (July 23). However, according to “Respectfully Justin” host Justin LaBoy, the record will now be arriving on Aug. 6.

“Thanks for your patience,” LaBoy wrote on Twitter. “[Kanye] wants to give his fans the best possible product without rushing anything. He loves y’all with all of his heart. God bless. #Donda #Respectfully.”
