Juice WRLD’s music has inspired fans across the globe. Apparently, it’s done the same for a new film that’s currently in development.

According to a report Deadline published earlier today (July 20), a new, original animated feature inspired by Juice Wrld’s music is currently in the works. It’s set to be written by “The Daily Show” writer Jaboukie Young-White. It’s reportedly set to be executive-produced by Interscope Films’ John Janick, Steve Berman and Tony Seyler. Juice’s mother, Carmella Wallace, as well as other members of his camp are also set apparently set to be involved.

There aren’t many details about the animated feature, but based on the people involved, it seems like it could be a dope project. The question is, could it, in any way, tie into new music from the late rapper? Fans will just have to wait and see.

This report arrives as anticipation for new Juice WRLD music intensifies. A couple of weeks ago, it was announced that his forthcoming album, The Party Never Ends, will be part of a trilogy. Along with the announcement, a trailer featuring an animated version of the late rapper was released.

The Party Never Ends will be Juice WRLD’s second posthumous project. The first, titled Legends Never Die, was released last summer. In its first week of release, the project sold 497,000 equivalent album units before landing at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart.

Speaking on the project last month, Juice’s manager, Peter Jideonwo, was said that the album would include big-time guest appearances, including Lil Uzi Vert. There isn’t yet a release date, but whenever it drops, fans can probably expect all of the emotionally transparent, stylistically versatile tracks they’ve come to expect from his releases up to this point. Here’s to hoping it drops in the very near future.
