Kanye West is gearing up to release the official follow-up to Jesus Is King, according to several celebrities. Over the weekend, Justin LaBoy claimed on Twitter that the Chicago-bred star previewed his next album, Donda, for him and pro-baller Kevin Durant.

“Kanye played his new album for me & [Kevin Durant] last night in Vegas,” the “Respectfully Justin” host wrote. “The production is light years ahead of it’s [sic] time, and the bars sound like he’s broke & hungry trying to get signed again. Any artist who plan on dropping soon should just push it back.”

LaBoy also shared a photo of himself, Durant and a masked man who appears to be West.

“Kanye West album is really done,” he added. “When it drops this week, we probably not going to listen to anything else for a while.”

LaBoy further claimed that Donda will be the album of the year and called the forthcoming record a “classic.” According to the internet personality, the album contains a feature from Lil Baby.

As LaBoy’s tweets began to circulate on Sunday (July 18), rumors about a listening party for Donda in Las Vegas popped up online. NME first reported pictures of fans gathered for the alleged album listening party on Sunday evening.

Producer Teddy Walton also tweeted about Donda, suggesting he was involved in its creation. In the past, he’s worked with Travis Scott, Bryson Tiller and Kendrick Lamar.

“Honestly can’t wait till [Kanye West] drop,” he wrote. “& I’m glad to be apart [sic] of history… See y’all soon.”

Other artists also weighed in online. On Instagram, Lil Durk said he was almost featured on Donda, but “missed the jet” to collaborate with ‘Ye.

Brockhampton’s Kevin Abstract also appealed to West, tweeting, “Kanye please give us the album.” Furthermore, Rolling Loud offered ‘Ye a spot in their Miami lineup should he wish to perform Donda at this week’s festival.

A photo of Tyler, the Creator and allegedly West also made rounds on social media. Several supposed tracklists for Donda also popped up online, though none of them have been confirmed by West’s team.

Fans have been anticipating Donda since ‘Ye released Jesus Is King in 2019. The album was initially set to arrive last year, but so far only its artwork and West’s collaboration with Travis Scott, “Wash Us In the Blood,” have been shared.
