Ice Cube added two amendments to his Contract With Black America (CWBA) ahead of his meeting with President Joe Biden.

On Tuesday (March 2), the Friday actor took to Instagram to share the update with his followers. “We added 2 new sections to the Contract With Black America,” he captioned the post. “Check it out at cwba.us.” The additional parts of the CWBA include the “Sports Industry Economic Development Plan – CWBA Sports Initiative” and “Additional Concerns Regarding Black Women.”

The CWBA Sports Initiative is aiming to address the systemic racism that is frequent throughout the sports industry, “particularly as it relates to economics, leadership, participation and wages.”

The “Additional Concerns Regarding Black Women” section was done in collaboration with Kamilah Moore and Maureen Simmons. It will address “the ‘afterlife’ of chattel slavery” and the “unique challenges derived from the enslavement and subjugation of their ancestors” that Black women continue to face.

Last summer, Cube introduced the CWBA as the country headed into the 2020 presidential election. The N.W.A. co-founder demanded politicians address racial inequalities within the banking and finance industries, criminal justice system, policing, education and Hollywood. He also wanted them to devise a system for reparations.

In October, Cube faced backlash after a senior advisor of the Trump administration thanked the rapper for assisting with the former president’s “Platinum Plan” for Black Americans. The Are We There Yet? actor said that both parties contacted him about the CWBA, but the republicans were willing to speak about it sooner.

REVOLT reported that Cube was planning to meet with President Biden to speak about the CWBA. The president and his team contacted him last month, but details surrounding the meeting were scarce. “I’m available... Whenever they’re ready; I’m there,” he said. “I’m hoping everything will be positive.”
