Lil Uzi Vert’s decision to embed a diamond in the middle of his forehead could turn fatal if it isn’t removed correctly.

On Wednesday night (Feb. 3), the Eternal Atake emcee took to Twitter to give fans a morbid update of his gem-implanted forehead. “If I don’t get it took out the right way, I could die .....,” he captioned a selfie, which showed blood leaking from the natural pink diamond. “No seriously.”

The now-deleted tweet sparked reactions from fans who were concerned with his well-being. “Bro, if this is not safe,” one user wrote. “You better take it off. I don’t want to see you dead.”

Other users noted he should be fine as long as the gem is safely removed.

In an effort to show his fans he was okay, Uzi shared a video of his face, but this time, the bloody mess was cleaned up. “Ok we good,” he captioned the post. “I’m literally tryna turn into a diamond.”

Uzi’s update comes hours after he showed the gem off to a friend during a FaceTime call. The image went viral, becoming a topic of conversation between fans who couldn’t believe the Philadelphia native actually went through with the absurd idea.

The “Baby Pluto” rapper first announced his intentions over the weekend when he revealed he spent years paying off the $24 million gem.

“I’ve been paying for a natural pink diamond from Elliot for years now,” Uzi tweeted. “This one Stone cost so much I’ve been paying for it since 2017. That was the first time I saw a real natural pink diamond. A lot of M’s in my face.”

“Yes, my Bugatti can’t even pay for it ... all my cars together, plus home, this took so long now I can get this money,” he continued in a follow-up tweet.

The diamond, he added, contains at least 10-11 carats and is his biggest purchase to date.
