In the age of social media, celebrities often find themselves among the sporadic trending topics that dominate daily conversations across the world. The reasons accompanying the attention typically vary from death to controversial old tweets, but in T-Pain’s case, fans have been praising the star since he announced he was in search of a few employees.

“Who tryin to get a job?” the Tallahasee producer tweeted on Sunday (Feb. 14). “I got some positions that need filling asap.” The following day (Feb. 15), he let fans know his team would be getting together to figure out what positions need to be filled at Nappy Boy Entertainment, noting the opportunity would be based in Atlanta, and he would not be paying for relocation.

“I’ll post the list as soon as we get it ready,” the “I’m Sprung” singer penned in a follow-up tweet. “Thank y’all for all the responses. Honestly didn’t expect it to blow up like that, but again, thank you. Details soon!!”

Naturally, with an overwhelming number of unemployment cases in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, Twitter users flooded his comments with posts explaining why they should be offered a job. The conversation went from elevator pitches to an overall appreciation for the rapper, his discography and overall contribution to music.

“Anything T-pain was on was a hit y’all can’t tell me no different,” one Twitter user penned in a tweet. A second user wrote, “T-Pain received an overwhelmingly amount of hate for his melodic style & use of auto-tune only for his music to age better than majority of rappers from that era.” In a third tweet, someone declared, “T-Pain probably one of the greatest artists of our generation. Argue with your Auntie.” Among the many tweets, users also shared clips of some of T-Pain’s most memorable performances.

This is not the first time T-Pain has been celebrated for his work. Following the singer’s participation in a Verzuz last year, fans also discussed his musical genius.
