Lauren London has responded to rumors of her being pregnant that began with a report by the L.A. Sentinel. In a tweet on Wednesday morning (Feb. 10), London denied the rumors and called them “lies.”

“Woke up to some straight bullshit. Rumors! Lies! On a woman trying her best to heal?!” the actress wrote. “Please stop. I’m NOT pregnant.”

On her Instagram Story, London added, “Now back to my sacred healing circle. #LLNH [Long Live Nipsey Hussle].”

Rumors of London’s alleged pregnancy went viral late Tuesday evening (Feb. 9) after the L.A. Sentinel said it had “confirmed” the news. In an article, the Los Angeles-based outlet wrote, “A[n] L.A. Sentinel source confirmed that actress Lauren Nicole London is pregnant. Information is still being gathered, but there is an undeniable sense of warmth surrounding the news.”

The outlet added that London was “looking to celebrate later this week with an intimate baby shower.”

Despite the rumors being false, London received warm support for the news on social media. Many users said they wished the best for London, who is often tied to her late partner, Nipsey Hussle.

If Lauren London is pregnant, I’m happy for her,” one Twitter user wrote. “Nipsey would not have wanted her to be sad & lonely.”

“The marathon will still continue even if Lauren London is pregnant,” another person tweeted. “Her love for Nipsey is infinite. But if she did allow herself to be loved while finding peace, then good for her. She deserves it. Fuck what anyone got to say.”

On Instagram, Hussle’s former bodyguard J Roc also denounced the rumors as “fake news” and instead directed fans’ attention to the rapper’s upcoming collaboration with JAY-Z.

“You people is miserable,” he wrote, “but [since] we got y’all attention: ‘What It Feel Like’ Hussle x Hov 2/12/21 #TMC.”

On her Instagram, London also promoted the forthcoming track, which will appear on the Judas and the Black Messiah soundtrack.
