La Flame is back. Taking to Instagram on Thursday (Nov. 4), Travis Scott announced he is dropping new music tonight at midnight (Nov. 5).

“FUCK IT LETS START IT UP NEW MUSIC AT MIDNIGHT,” the Houston native wrote.

Scott accompanied the announcement with a picture of a black-and-white magazine cover called Weekly World Truths — a possible nod to the tabloid Weekly World News, which ran from 1979 to 2007 and was known for its fictional “news” stories and supernatural-themed covers.

Scott’s magazine cover appears to show him as an alien and reads, “The true dystopia is here! When the end arrives it’s really the beginning.”

Fans were understandably excited by the post, commenting, “Let’s gooooo!” and “Classic project loading.”

The spoof magazine’s dystopian cover could be a sign that Scott’s forthcoming album, Utopia, is on the way. The 30-year-old has been teasing his next project for months, most recently explaining the meaning behind its title in an interview with CR Men.

“Medicine, nursing, being a better person, talking, language, communication — you know, a utopian state. That’s what my album is about,” Scott told the outlet. “You think utopia is a society where everything is good: health, buildings, architecture—nah. It’s just about proper lines of communication. Because that’s the dystopian shit we’re in right now. It’s all hate, hate, hate, and all of that is drawn from what?”

“Miscommunication, non-communication, non-understandable communication, ignorance to communication,” he continued. “‘I don’t like this person.’ Why? Because somebody told me something to not like this person? Because in history I read to not like this person? Why?”

The announcement also arrives just one day before Scott’s third Astroworld Festival is set to take place in Houston. As reported by REVOLT, the two-day fest, which runs this Friday and Saturday (Nov. 6), will see performances from 21 Savage, Baby Keem, Young Thug, Roddy Ricch, Lil Baby and more.
