Kid Cudi and Kanye West have joined forces once again, this time on an animated show inspired by their 2018 collaborated EP, Kids See Ghosts. Cudi released a trailer for the show — which shares the project’s title — on Friday (June 26).

Directed by Japanese artist Takashi Muramaki, the two-minute trailer finds cartoon “Kanye Bear” and “Kid Fox” — voiced by West and Cudi, respectively — that are about to begin an epic adventure. While riding their bikes, the animated characters are chased by a tree-like creature that emerges from the sky. After running through a forest, they discover a gigantic space ship. “Kanye Bear” appears to be based off of the cover art for ‘Ye’s past albums College Dropout, Late Registration and Graduation.

The trailer’s sound designed was helmed by Cudi and William J. Sullivan. Although no premiere date for the show has been shared, the preview’s YouTube description teases, “Coming Soon.”

The “Kids See Ghosts” trailer’s arrival marks what has truly been the #WestDayEver for ‘Ye. On Friday (June 26), the Jesus Is King rapper also announced his 10-year partnership between Yeezy and Gap. The collaborated line is expected to include apparel for men, women and children — but no footwear. Yeezy Gap reportedly arrives to store and digital platforms early next year.

“We are excited to welcome Kanye back to the Gap family as a creative visionary, building on the aesthetic and success of his Yeezy brand and together defining a next-level retail partnership,” the Global Head of Gap Brand Mark Breitbard said in a press release.

For Cudi, “Kids See Ghosts” marks another television project for the Cleveland native, who is also gearing up to air his “Entergalactic” Netflix series. While Cudi hasn’t revealed a concrete premiere date for the show, he previously hinted that it would arrive this July. “Entergalactic” will also be accompanied by an upcoming album of the same name.
