Lori Harvey reportedly fought off an attempted carjacker in Atlanta. According to The Blast, Harvey parked her 2020 Rolls-Royce Cullinan in the garage of an Atlanta apartment complex. She then got out of the vehicle and attempted to remove her Whole Foods groceries from the trunk when a man reportedly crept up behind her and jumped in the driver’s seat of the car.

TMZ reports that Harvey ran towards the suspect, at one point even struggling with him as he attempted to steal her car. The police report said the man pushed her off of him. Harvey eventually walked away after realizing that the thief could not get far without the key fob to her Rolls-Royce. The Blast reports that several new cars can only go a few feet without the key fob close by.

As she walked away, another suspect drove up to her car and went into the trunk, grabbing a red duffle bag. The second suspect jumped into the car and the two men fled.

Harvey described the first suspect as a young black male, according to the police report.

The two men made off with the car and a few pieces of clothing that was in the duffle bag. Law enforcement says they will look into the surveillance cameras at Whole Foods to see if anyone was following her from the grocery store.

She refused medical attention and did not complain of any injuries.

Harvey recently pled not guilty to criminal hit-and-run charges after allegedly leaving the scene of her car accident. According to The Blast, she entered the plea in a Los Angeles County courtroom on Jan. 21. She is due back in court next month for a preliminary hearing.

Harvey has been charged with two misdemeanors, one count of resisting, delaying and obstructing a police officer and one count of hit-and-run resulting in property damage.

No one was injured in the accident, which occurred in Oct. 2019.
