When DJ Khaled became an ambassador for Weight Watchers a few years back, his desire to live a healthier lifestyle was evident. Amid his “personal wellness journey,” the Father of Asahd hitmaker developed an interest in CBD, and now he’s ready to share his latest indulgence with others through his most recent business venture.

As Rolling Stone reported, Khaled has partnered with CBD manufacturer Endexx Corporation to launch a line of hemp-derived CBD products that is expected to release in early 2021. Though no further details have been provided, the company currently makes CBD oils, capsules and topicals.

“As a father, an entrepreneur, a music exec and visionary, I am blessed with daily inspiration, a drive to work hard and a passion for success,” Khaled told Rolling Stone when discussing his upcoming brand.

“CBD has become a part of my daily routine, and allows me to focus myself and my energies while striving to better myself every day.”

“We are excited to announce our partnership with DJ Khaled,” Endexx Corporation CEO Todd Davis added. “Khaled’s knowledge and passion for CBD is bountiful, and we realized we are aligned in our approach towards product quality and business acumen. We understand and share the values that a brand goes beyond physical products; it needs to help people feel good about themselves and be part of a day-to-day lifestyle.”

The Major Key star is the latest artist to get involved in a cannabis-related venture. In October, JAY-Z launched MONOGRAM, his recently-launched cannabis brand which consists of pre-rolled blunts. The following month, Nas’ documentary about marijuana culture and its effect on African American people premiered on BET.

Beyoncé also showed the cannabis industry some love when her philanthropic organization, BeyGOOD, teamed up with the NAACP to give a $10,000 grant to The Gift — a natural health and wellness company in Maryland that specializes in cannabis products.
