Nominations for the 2021 Grammy Awards are here. The Recording Academy revealed its full list of nominees on Tuesday (Nov. 24), which included the likes of Beyoncé, DaBaby and first-timer Megan Thee Stallion, who is nominated for Best New Artist, Record of the Year and more. Freddie Gibbs also earned his first Grammy nomination for Best Rap Album with his Alchemist-produced effort, Alfredo.

Bey’s single “Black Parade” spawned nine nominations, making her the front-runner for the upcoming award ceremony. The 39-year-old star now has a career total of 79 nominations, making her the most-nominated female artist in Grammys history. Bey is followed by Dua Lipa, Taylor Swift and Roddy Ricch, who are tied at six nods each.

Fans were surprised to see The Weeknd’s absence on the nominations list, as his album After Hours has dominated the year’s award shows and Billboard charts. Other honorable mentions include Pop Smoke, Kanye West, and DaBaby, who received three noms for his and Roddy Ricch’s “Rockstar.” The Charlotte native was also acknowledged in the Best Rap Performance category for “Bop.”

Burna Boy also snagged a number for his latest album, Twice As Tall, in the Best Global Music Album category. Released back in August, Sean “Diddy” Combs” executive produced it free of charge. “I wanted this [album] to build a stronger bridge between, basically, all people of color,” Burna said in a previous interview about the LP. “… The album was already about 80 percent done before I got Diddy involved. Getting Diddy involved — first of all — me and Diddy are now one bridge. Then, it’s like a tree; it just keeps going.”

Trevor Noah will host the 63rd annual Grammy Awards, which will be broadcast by CBS on Sunday, Jan. 31 from 8 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. EST.
