Fans can also see a new visual from the project for the Nas-assisted “Die For It.”

Belly is officially back. Today (August 27), the Canadian emcee liberates his third studio LP See You Next Wednesday, a 15-track body of work that sees a slew of contributions from Young Thug, Moneybagg Yo, Gunna, NAV, Lil Uzi Vert, Big Sean, Benny The Butcher, and more. The project was led by the well-received singles “Money on the Table,” “IYKYK,” “Zero Love,” and “Better Believe.”

In addition, fans also get to check out another visual from the release for “Die For It,” a collaboration with The Weeknd and Nas that sees the artists determined to succeed in all facets of life — or succumb as a result of failure:

“I remember sleepin’ on floors and missin’ tours, I was rock bottom, money on my head, that was top dollar, had the stock para, gun powder, for the Rottweilers, I was home with pops when the cops got him, voices in my head, tryna kill the noise, they killed Nip, will never fill the void…”

The accompanying clip for the Skinny, The ANMLS, and DaHeala-produced offering comes courtesy of James Larese and sees the collaborators in a dystopian setting. Belly roams the streets while The Weeknd can be seen in television sets — Nas performs his part from what looks like the inside of a destroyed clock tower. Dark times, indeed.

In a recent sit-down with REVOLT’s “Drink Champs,” Belly explained the meaning behind See You Next Wednesday, which turns out to be a direct reference to John Landis, a famed directer who would include the phrase in a lot of his work:

“I read more into it, it was the first script he ever wrote … It was basically like a movie he never made. … I just recently went through something crazy. I always felt like if I get to make this album, it would be like the movie he never got to make.”

Press play on both See You Next Wednesday and “Die For It.”
