BJ The Chicago Kid and Eric Bellinger describe their perfect “Type Of Day” in new collab

The new release is the second installment of “BJ Wednesdays.”

BJ The Chicago Kid delivers the exciting news that he will be dropping new music and content every week for the next few weeks as a part of “BJ Wednesday’s,” where the singer will provide his fans with a musical gift to help with getting through the week. First up is his soulful rendition of The Dream’s “Fancy.” Now, he returns with his follow-up second installment and tapped in with Eric Bellinger for the assist. On their freshly released “Type Of Day” collab track, they describe a perfect carefree day filled with good smoke, beautiful weather, and good vibes over some smooth guitar chords:

It’s just that type of day/ Smoking on that za za, that la la la/ Put one in the sky, I got my ride or die on my right hand side/ This that type of shit that I li-i-i-ke/ Good vibes always, there ain’t no worries yeah, like WiFi we connected every where

This year has treated BJ The Chicago kid well, as he has solidified collaborations with names like Chika, PJ Morton and was even featured on the soundtrack for the Academy Award winning film, Judas And The Black Messiah. Most recently, BJ released a track entitled “The Chi”, which was featured on the Showtime original series, The Chi created by Lena Waithe.

Most recently, Eric Bellinger prepped for an Eazy Summer with new “Shine On The World” single. He also assisted Symphani Soto on her latest single “Just A Moment” and joined her for the official 2000’s-inspired music video as well. Last month, Eric Bellinger and Hitmaka teamed up for their joint 1-800-HIT-EAZY project. The new body of work consists of 14 new tracks, all produced by Hitmaka, and includes just two features from Chrishan and Rahky.
