Styles P continues to deliver top quality albums for his fans to enjoy. This past weekend, he adds to his discography with Ghosting, a 14-track body of work with additional features from Yemi Sauce, Dyce Payne, Tony Moxberg, Lavish Life, and ItsTheReal, the last of whom appear on a couple of the album’s skits. The project was preceded by a visual for “Scattered,” which sees production from Styles’ son Noah Styles.

This week, the Yonkers legend adds to the momentum with another new video for “Hit Different,” an Official Luxury Music and Perb-backed effort that sees him rapping about his contributions to rap, his health, and more:

“I’m subscribe to energy, if it’s all good, if it’s bad, then I’m bouncin’ out or pullin’ out the nine, you say ‘go figure,’ I figure you ain’t going if you ain’t got dough and I was drinkin’ mo’ liquor, just imagine when my act clean, alkaline body, I’m never taking a vaccine, I reclaim my time like Maxine, ’cause I was in the water with the crack fiends…”

Shot and edited by Nicholas Siegel, the accompanying clip for “Hit Different” shows Styles P in what looks like a futuristic odyssey, performing the track both in a spacecraft and on a planet of sorts while a giant alien surrounds him. There’s also a scene that shows him in a movie theater while classic Mike Tyson footage plays behind him.

Ghosting follows last year’s Styles David: Ghost Your Enthusiasm, another amazing body of work that featured appearances from ItsTheReal, along with Snyp Life, Cassandra The Goddess, and fellow LOX giants Jadakiss and Sheek Louch. 2020 also saw The LOX reunite for their fourth studio LP Living Off Xperience — most recently, the trio can also be heard on DMX’s posthumous drop Exodus.
