Back in May, Young Nudy liberated his sophomore studio LP DR. EV4L, a 13-track offering with additional appearances from Lil Uzi Vert, 21 Savage, and G Herbo. For his latest, the Atlanta star delivers a new visual from the project for “Soul Keeper,” a COUPE-produced cut that sees him keeping things very street-oriented on wax:

“Run like a track meet, I chase you down, bitch nigga, how do I feel? Like hittin’ a stick, I might just kill a nigga, kill him and his partner evidence, you know I spin, nigga, get rid of rich niggas, yeah, I take shit, nigga, never been a hater, I make money, I’m a motivator, fuckin’ all these bitches ‘cause they fuck with me ‘cause I got paper…”

The accompanying clip for “Soul Keeper” keeps things pretty simple and to the point, and Nudy performs the track from what looks like a high-rise residents with stacks of money in view. He can also be seen outside, hitting the streets and vibing out with his crew.

In a past interview with REVOLT, Young Nudy’s tour manager Trevor Patterson spoke on how they gauge a response to Nudy music from both a street and internet standpoint:

“It depends. The street reaction to a song, it kind of tells you what it’s going to do at a club. The internet reaction tells you what it’s going to do at a show. You have to have a balance between both.”

Last year, Nudy blessed his exponentially growing fanbase with his official debut album Anyways…, which boasted 16 cuts and was void of any features. Prior to that, he teamed up with top tier producer Pi’erre Bourne on the joint effort Sli’merre, which saw contributions from Savage, Megan Thee Stallion, DaBaby, and Lil Uzi Vert.
