Doja Cat has unleashed the latest taste of her upcoming project. The freshly released “Need To Know” is the second promo track off Doja Cat’s forthcoming studio album, Planet Her, which is officially set to arrive on June 25. It follows the her smash hit collab track with SZA titled “Kiss Me More” which came out a few weeks ago and has already taken social media by a storm. On the new track, which follows her cohesive running space theme quite nicely, Doja gets provocative:

What’s your size? (Size) add, subtract, divide (‘Vide)/ Daddy don’t throw no curves (Curves) hold up, I’m going wide (Wide)/ We could just start at ten (Ten) Then we can go to five (Five)

I don’t play play with my pin (Pin), I mean what I write/ Yeah-yeah, woah-woah-woah I just can’t hеlp but be sexual (Oh) Tell mе your schedule (Yeah) I got a lotta new tricks for you, baby

The song’s existence was first made known in a Billboard article on Apr. 22, 2021. Doja actually tweeted fans to inform them “Need To Know” isn’t the next official single from Planet Her, but rather “just some shit before the next more important single comes out for you to enjoy.”

Back in 2019, Doja Cat liberated her Hot Pink project, a 12-track body of work that saw additional appearances from Smino, Gucci Mane, and Tyga. To say the Hot Pink project kept its momentum going since its release would be a severe understatement.

In addition to her revamped visual for “Streets,” which is the official track for the viral Silhouette Challenge, Hot Pink has also spawned other dope cuts like “Juicy,” “Like That,” and the Billboard Hot 100 chart-topper “Say So,” the last of which subsequently saw an updated assist from Nicki Minaj.

Be sure to press play on Doja Cat’s brand new “Need To Know” track.
