Soulja Boy returns with new visual for “She Make It Clap”

The “Crank That” icon is back with another dance.

Believe it or not, it’s been 14 years since Soulja Boy Tell ‘Em released his smash single “Crank Dat (Soulja Boy),” a song that’s earned the Atlanta-based star plaques and chart placements all over the globe. The song is also notable for its accompanying dance, a formula that many have tried to emulate after to varying degrees of success. Now, it looks like Soulja Boy has returned with another infectious hit to remind us how it’s properly done.

Earlier this month, Soulja liberated “She Make It Clap,” which comes with its own moves — Tik Tok stars and celebrities alike have already taken to the internet to cut a proverbial rug. a Produced by Fantom, the booming cut that sees him bragging about his current lifestyle, an approach that’s standard on many of his more recent efforts:

“Riding ‘round town with the strap in my lap, ooh, yeah, she make it clap, I’m trying to grab it then hit from the back, told her, “Drop it down”, ‘cause I like that, after I hit then I’ll bе right back, I walk in the club and whip out the racks.../”

Today, fans of the song get to check out an accompanying visual for “She Make It Clap,” which shows Soulja Boy at a residence with a bevy of beauties — all of whom help to bring the song’s title to reality.

Earlier this week, Soulja Boy took a critic of his to task during a Twitch session, reminding many why he should be considered one of the greatest to ever do it:

“I’m worth $30 million dollars, but I’m an idiot. I released the No. 1 hit single at the age of 16 and made over a million dollars, but I’m an idiot. ... I’ve been relevant for the last 15 years and every artist that came out when I came out fell off but, I’m an idiot. ... Make it make sense. I’m a genius!”
