The multi-talented Trevor Jackson officially revealed his debut album The Love Languagelast month. So far, we’ve been able to enjoy visuals for cuts like “Get To You” and “Just Friends,” and now the star has returned for the official video for “Your Everything.” On the track, he fills the hook up with words of affirmation, an homage to the title of the project:

If nobody’s told you that they’re proud, if the applause doesn’t seem that loud/ If you don’t have a shoulder to lean on, nothin’ to keep you warm/ And it feels like the world has let you down

Then I will be your everything, I said, I will be your everything/ If you don’t have a shoulder to lean on, nothin’ to keep you warmSaid, I will be your everythingAnd that’s on everything, oh-oh

The album is led by the hit singles like the classic Lil Jon, The East Side Boyz, Luda and Usher-sampling “Just Friends” as well as “Get To You.” The latter track is accompanied by a cinematic music video that shows Jackson’s obsessive love that amplifies the song’s message. The Love Language includes production credits from Jackson himself, Harvey Mason Jr., and Ayo & Keyz, and more.

Jackson made sure this release was filled with intention, as he delivers it with a message in mind: we need more understanding of love. “Love is the universal language of all things and I hope this album gives people more confidence to understand their own love languages and how to communicate them,” Trevor Jackson says via press release. “The power of this music will not only bring people together, but it’ll also bring people closer to themselves.”

The excitement doesn’t stop there for the multifaceted star. In conjunction with the release of The Love Language, the grown-ish co-star recently shared the major announcement that he is set to star in Revelation Entertainment’s new film Hate To See You Go alongside legendary actors Morgan Freeman, Alfre Woodard, Common and Bill Burr. The film will be directed by Oscar Award Winning Director, Ben Tishler and follows the story of an aging Chicago Blues musician who refuses to retire.
