Sleepy Hallow has dropped off his latest single “2055,” and in its accompanying visual, he travels to his version of what that year will probably look like. The new animated video is complete with alien creatures, suspicious drinks, and a futuristic city setting. For the opening hook and verse, Hallow is seen falling into an alternate universe while he delivers his first bars of the song:

I just wanna slide, huh, parties in the sky like it’s 2055, huh/ She said “Boy you nice, boy you nice”, huhHeart cold like some water and some ice (Huh)/ Why would you sacrifice? Knowing you could die, ain’t nobody by your side, huh/

I know n***as cap (Cap) and bitches lie, came from dirt can’t go back/ You could see it in my eyes, huh, real niggas cry blood (Blood hope my kid never try drugs (Huh) All I wanted was some love, would that trade for a gun

For the rest of the video, the animated Sleepy Hallow ventures around the city, zooming around in a high-tech car, and even stopping by a party where he meets a bartender that’s not exactly what she seems to be at first. The “2055” video is directed by Aylo and animation is led by Owen Khang. Most recently, Sleepy Hallow teamed up with Sheff G and DJ Drewski for their “2020 Vision” single.

In addition to “2020 Vision,” Sleepy Hallow also dropped a single of his own titled “2 Sauce.” “2 Sauce” is said to be taken from Hallow’s forthcoming body of work STILL SLEEP? which is expected to make landfall before year’s end, and acts as the official sequel to 2019’s DON’T SLEEP. His previous drop, Sleepy For President, was released last June.
