Last month, Lucky Daye released his Table For Two EP and today he has officially shared a brand new visual to match the energy for his Yebba-assisted cut “How Much Can A Heart Take.” The lyric video features a couple in love enjoying their picnic date as Lucky and Yebba serenade the viewers:

This shit is trash, I’ma give it right on back ‘cause that’s what I’ve been gettin’ from you/ Yeah, lately, you’ve been out of your mind tradin’ lines, lovin’ me blind/ Talking ‘bout we should take time, how you go and call it good news? ’Cause you’re feelin’ blue/ How much can a heart take/ When feelings change like phases of the moon? You found me in a hard space, hey/ I’m channelin’ new energy, I don’t wanna hurt you, believe/ I don’t wanna learn from the heat (I don’t wanna learn from the heat)

The aforementioned Table For Two EP features assists from Mahalia, Ari Lennox, Queen Naija, and Joyce Wrice. In 2019, Lucky Daye shared his Painted project back in 2019, a featureless project that boasts his mega-hit “Roll Some Mo” and also cuts like “Late Night” and “Karma.” The following year, he added six additional tracks and presented a deluxe version of painted. Last year, Yebba shared her single titled “Distance.” The project was so well-received that it earned Lucky multiple Grammy nominations, including Best R&B Project.

Additionally, Lucky Daye and Leon Bridges teamed up for “All About You” last year, along with “Be Thankful For What You’ve Got” alongside Big Freedia and BJRNCK. He also teamed up the legendary Babyface for their “Shoulda” collab track. He also stopped by COLORS in Germany and delivered a live performance of “Buying Time.”
