Back in April, Sneakbo liberated his latest project 9 LIVES, a 17-track offering that saw additional appearances from Fekky, Moelogo, Dappy, Ard Adz, Tiny Boost, Mr Eazi, and more. Since then, the South London veteran hasn’t let up with new releases, dropping a versatile set of singles like “Shut Up” with M Dargg, “Shake Dat Azz,” and “I Don’t Wanna Die.” For his latest, he reveals “Chasing The Bag,” a Benji W. Julien-produced effort that sees him delivering non-stop bars about his current life over a laid-back soundscape:

“I do what I want like who’s gonna stop me, I just got two brand new Rollies, two hand tings like who’s tryna rob me, jump in the car and bro get dumpy, trust me, trust me, I make my man keep up a fuckry, man leave that block bare mucky/

My young boy drop man like Chucky, and I got Ps on the way, been workin’, they wanna know what I’m earnin’, in an all Black German, swervin, dressed all Black like I’m Martin, lurkin…/”

Shot by AVTVHUB, the matching visual shows Sneakbo out in Dubai living it up, hanging out with his son, going on a desert excursion, flexing in a Rolls Royce, and — of course — taking some jetskis out on the water. While many of us – particularly in the lackadaisical western world — remain cooped up in the house due to the still-active pandemic, Sneakbo is continuing to live his life as a rockstar.

In addition to “Chasing The Bag” and “I Don’t Wanna Die,” last month also saw Sneakbo working with North West London production duo iLL BLU, providing his talents alongside the Mitchell Brothers on the socially conscious cut “Routine Check 2.0.”
