Kent Jones has a hit on his hands with his brand new track “Bout That.” The new single boasts a guest appearance from The Boss himself Rick Ross and features a beat made by Kent. On the track, Kent starts off the track by interpolating some classic lyrics from “I Look Good” by Charlie Boy:

On my momma, on my hood (My hood), I get high, I look good (Look good)/ Throw your bag and I keep that bitch full (Bitch full), all about mine and I got it out the mud/ ‘Cause I’m ’bout that (‘Bout that) I’m ’bout that

Bitch, I’m ’bout that, bitch, I’m ’bout that/ ‘Cause I’m ’bout that (‘Bout that)/ Came straight from the bottom, n***a, we got that (Got that)/ We was hungry, now I watch all my n***as count racks (Count racks)/ For this life we live, on my momma, yeah, I’m ’bout that (‘Bout that) Bout that

So far in 2021, Kent has appeared on a slew of singles including “Her Favorite” featuring Millionz of Bar$, “Magic” with DJ Dap, and “No Plans for Love” with Ne-Yo and D-Nice.

Rozay can be heard on a slew of recent collaborations this year. These include the official remix of Guapdad 4000’s “How Many,” Joyner Lucas’ “Legend,” “Run It” with Rich Brian and DJ Snake, and “All For Nothing” with Paloma Ford. It’s been a couple of years since Rick Ross released his tenth studio LP Port of Miami 2, the official sequel to his 2006 debut that saw 15 tracks with additional features from Wale, Gunplay, Meek Mill, Summer Walker, DeJ Loaf, the late Nipsey Hussle, Teyana Taylor, Jeezy, YFN Lucci, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Lil Wayne, and more.
