I think it’s safe to say that Wiz Khalifa is just enjoying the freedom of making music whenever he feels like it. This year alone, he released It’s Only Weed Bro and The Saga Of Wiz Khalifa, two EPs that more than satisfied his stoner-heavy fanbase. Now, the Taylor Gang head honcho drops off a new single titled “Slim Peter,” which was humorously named by Wiz’s fans during a Discord chat session. Produced by the legendary Statik Selektah, the track sees Wiz Khalifa continuing to live the rockstar life with drinks poured, music playing loud and weed rolled in abundance:

“I came and took my spot in the game, no one let me, now outer space is my destination, stuck around n***as who showed love instead of hatin’/

And gettin’ money’s my occupation, haha, forget the time you wasted, if you can’t roll up a paper, leave it to me, turn up the bass and wake up the neighbors, leave it to me/

Makin’ sure everyone’s safe, leave it to me, 6AM, gin shot straight, leave it to me, this exactly where I’m supposed to be, Halloween nothin’ but real ones close to me…/”

The track is said to be taken from Wiz Khalifa’s forthcoming mixtape Big Pimpin, which he announced via social media:

“Figured out the name and the artwork for the tape and how ima drop it. Ima call it #BigPimpin and drop half one week and the other half the next…”

Not counting the aforementioned EPs, Big Pimpin will follow Wiz’s Fly Times, Vol.1: The Good Fly Young project, which was released in celebration of last year’s 4/20 holiday. Prior to that, he teamed up with longtime collaborator Curren$y to release 2009 a couple of months prior. His last official studio LP, the 25-track Rolling Papers 2, was released in 2018.
