Last August, Snoop Dogg dropped his seventeenth — yes, seventeenth — studio album I Wanna Thank Me, which boasted 22 tracks and features from DJ Battlecat, Swizz Beatz, Chris Brown, Slick Rick, Wiz Khalifa, YG, Mustard, Jermaine Dupri, Trey Songz, and loads more. Speaking to Billboard, Snoop spoke on his mindset when creating the album:

With this particular project, I was thinking to myself, “Where do I fit in the rap game?” I ain’t that young, fly rapper no more. I’m like a great uncle to a lot of these rappers now… And for them to want to do records with me keeps me relevant, keeps me still in the realm when young kids hear my voice instead of ‘Who is that old-ass man rapping?! He needs to sit down somewhere with a cane, rest in peace.’ Hell no to the no no no!

This week, he liberated a new visual from I Wanna Thank Me for the track “I C Your Bulls***,” an ode to those who don’t keep it real set over sounds by producer Van Gogh:

Why you actin’ smart when you not? Actin’ like you hot when you not?/

When you not? When you not? When you not? I can’t fake with you no more, I’m just not/

All that fast talkin’ s***, it ain’t gon’ work here, go back over there ‘fore you get hurt here/

The accompanying visual is directed by Jesse James and is pretty wacky for a Snoop Dogg music video. The Long Beach legend can be seen causing trouble in class, going back in time to save slaves, and — as an actual dog — shunning a women posing for social media. Later in the video, a deep fake of the late Tupac Shakur can be seen rapping some of the lyrics while Snoop flies through space. Very trippy stuff.
