With QC cohort Lil Baby setting the tone for his camp, it’s now time for Lil Yachty to bring some heat to the masses. Following a quick-strike announcement via social media, the Atlanta-based star has revealed his new single “Oprah’s Bank Account,” which features A-list peers Drake and DaBaby. It should also be noted that the release coincides with the release of 2016’s Lil Boat and 2018’s Lil Boat 2, both of which made landfall on March 9.

The track sees the two collaborators talking that money talk to the woman who has their attention, comparing their physical appearance to a certain billionaire’s bank statements. Drake’s bars alone are as catchy as ever:

“Back home I’m no presi’, I’m Obama/

I condone the drama, I tongue down Madonna/

Do you need pyjamas?/

Stayin’ the night, girl you promised it/

Hide in the cave like Osama did/

I’m blowin’ a bag in the diamond district/

You need me like the dollars that are owed to you/

Yeah, money and me are the same, but I just don’t fold for you…/”

The accompanying visual is absolutely hilarious, as Lil Yachty plays as an Oprah-esque doppleganger — named Boprah, no less — who has separate interviews with his collaborators. This could easily be one of the most creative hip hop videos released this year thus far.

“Oprah’s Bank Account” is the latest from Yachty since his appearance on Zaytoven’s A-Team project last month, which was created alongside fellow A-Town all-stars Lil Keem and Lil GotIt. Prior to that, he gave the world Nuthin 2 Prove back in 2018, which peaked at number 12 on the Billboard 200 and saw additional appearances from Playboi Carti, Juice WRLD, Cardi B, Trippie Redd, Gunna and more.
