Corde77 has enlisted Curren$y for his latest offering, the new breezy “Slow Ride” track, which arrived with a visual with the smooth vibes to perfectly match the track’s name.

The video captures the laid back and genuine dynamic between the two rappers, as the visual depicts both emcees in their natural state. “Spent 42 hours in New Orleans,” reads the opening caption of the video. “Wanted the video to be organic as possible. We had fun shooting this. Enjoy.” Earlier this year in May, Corde77 dropped off his collab single with Snoop Dogg “Bron & Bronny.” This year also saw the release of his other singles like “7” and “Paper Girl$.”

In July, Curren$y linked up with Harry Fraud to present The OutRunners, and they swiftly followed up with yet another joint project in September titled The Director’s Cut. The second offering included 9 new tracks with Harry Fraud production and features from Snoop Dogg, Trippie Redd, Styles P, and Larry June. Prior to this, the duo also dropped La Marina together back in 2018, which saw guest appearances from Smoke DZA, French Montana, Action Bronson, and Wiz Khalifa.

In a recent sit-down from earlier this summer, Curren$y dished out some game about why his sound has been cemented as classic over the years:

Shit, I pride myself on—and what I built my whole legacy on—is not falling into the bag of talking about shit you not into. It’s become more of a motivational thing for people that listen to me, because they know if I said something, I can show them that I have it. But they definitely was riding with me when I didn’t have it. It shows that hard work pays off. I’ll always be able to put music out about my life because that’s what I’m talking about. Motherfuckers run into writer’s block because they talking about shit they don’t really do.
