Coi Leray is a trendsetter in “Rick Owens”

The Jersey artist drops her first single since her ‘Now Or Never’ EP.

Coi Leray has dropped her first single since her Now Or Never EP from earlier this year titled “Rick Owens.” The track came with a blazing new visual, literally as a fire breather keeps the heat up in the background of the video to match the energy of the song. On “Rick Owens,” she switches up to showcase her more aggressive flow:

“I ain’t doing no more favors. Last n***a went and fucked up the paper. When I throw it back, he gon’ eat the cake up. Thumb through the check when I wake up. Balling on you n****s like a layup. N***as sleeping on me, better stay up. Income, income, pay up. Money, no sleep, stay up.”

Back in August, Coi Leray dropped her EP Now or Never, and she recently she gifted fans with the music video for the project’s intro track “Slide” featuring Gunna. The Now or Never project included features from Kiana Lede, Sevyn Streeter, and fellow Jersey native Fetty Wap. Aside from music, Coi has her own series on YouTube titled Cooking With Coi Leray.

In a recent interview with REVOLT about Now or Never, Coi Leray delved into why she is taking time with her debut:

“As an upcoming artist, you’ve got to build. You’ve got to create a story. I’m living my life, taking my time with this s**t because you don’t want to rush anything. I want to make sure that the way I tell my story is exactly how it needs to be. As long as it needs to take, that’s what the f**k it’s going to be. The day that I do tell my story and drop the project, it’s going to fucking go crazy. I’m definitely hitting Billboard charts. I promise you that.”
