Summer Walker joins Toosii for a “Love Cycle”

The song can be found on Toosii’s recent project ‘Poetic Pain.’

Toosii recently shared his visuals for “Right Now” and “Sinner’s Prayer” of off his recent project Poetic Pain, and today he’s back for a three peat with a brand new videol for “Love Cycle” featuring Summer Walker. Poetic Pain has been performing relatively well, as it debuted at No. 17 on the Billboard 200 and has crossed 50K US adjusted sales. In the new “Love Cycle” video, Toosii puts his acting skills to the test as he plays the role of a call operator who works a mundane office job, except when he gets a few interesting calls from women with specific requests.

On “Love Cycle” Summer Walker sings about the things she says she deserves:

“You don’t be givin’ me no stress, so I know where it’s at. All I’m really tryna see, what you lookin’ at me for? All I want is LV, I want Gucci on me. All I want is your head, and your hands. Gonna help, yourself. What you thinking ‘bout me for?”

Earlier this year in February, Toosii dropped his project Platinum Heart and gifted fans with the deluxe version as well, both versions containing no features. Platinum Heart (Deluxe) charted at No. 2 on Billboard’s Heatseekers Albums tally and also entered the Billboard 200. All three of Toosii’s recent music videos were directed by frequent collaborator Edgar Esteves, who shared fond words on a post about Toosii’s authenticity and work ethic.

In a recent interview, Toosii addressed what he thought about the Lil Baby and Roddy Ricch comparisons fans frequently seem to make:

“It might be the type of music that I make, my type of beat selection, but I don’t even mind. The comparisons really don’t bother, because I could see them comparing me to somebody who wasn’t doing everything that they needed to do. If they feel like those is the type of influences, I mean, those are good influences.”
