Saudi Arabia’s flagship music festival, MDLBEAST’s Soundstorm, has announced the first wave of performers for its 2025 edition. Taking place just outside of Riyadh from Dec. 11 to 13, the event will once again bring together global stars and regional talent for one of the Middle East’s largest entertainment gatherings.
This year’s initial lineup includes several major acts across Hip Hop, R&B, and electronic music. Post Malone is confirmed to headline with a set featuring his chart-topping blend of rap, rock, and pop. KAYTRANADA, a GRAMMY-winning producer known for his blend of multiple genres, will return with a groove-heavy performance. Metro Boomin, one of the most prominent producers in Hip Hop, will contribute his trap-inspired sound alongside DJ Snake. Additional names include Major Lazer Soundsystem, Tyla, Black Coffee, Idris Elba, Loyle Carner, and The Kid LAROI.
Soundstorm drew more than 450,000 attendees in 2024 with performances from Eminem, Latto, A$AP Rocky, The Roots, and others. MDLBEAST positioned the festival as both a large-scale live music experience and a cultural platform aligned with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, which emphasizes the growth of creative industries alongside economic diversification.
Organizers are promising an expanded setup in 2025, including more stages, new activations, and additional headliners to be revealed in the coming months. The festival has also built a reputation for combining music with art installations and experiential programming designed to create an immersive atmosphere for attendees.
XP Music Futures 2025 to host panels, workshops, and networking
Ahead of Soundstorm, XP Music Futures will return from Dec. 4 to 6 in Riyadh. The three-day conference provides panels, workshops, and networking opportunities designed to connect emerging artists with established professionals. Since its debut in 2021, XP has grown into a central meeting point for talent development in the Middle East, helping local musicians access resources, mentorship, and international exposure.
Registration for both Soundstorm and XP Music Futures is currently open. Registrants will receive updates on tickets, transportation, and scheduling. Learn more about both at MDLBEAST’s official website.
