At this point, Gunna is easily one of the hottest artists in the game right now. Over recent times, Gunna has been on a highly impressive hot streak and he doesn’t plan to stop anytime soon. From his memorable features to the cohesive projects. the Atlanta rapper has proven that he can’t be touched right now. With us coasting through the first quarter of 2022, the year is already looking promising thanks to Gunna. During these trying times with the new variants spreading, the world needs these vibes to kick off the new year. Today (Jan. 7), the YSL rapper drops off his new DS4 Ever album.

There’s been a lot of hype surrounding Gunna‘s fourth installment in the Drip Season series. The rapper began teasing the project in 2021 as the follow-up to WUNNA, though his presence was largely felt on YSL’s Slime Language 2. However, in the latter months of last year, he began picking up the pace on the rollout. A few collaborators, like Metro Boomin, confirmed that they’d appear on the project before Gunna dropped off “Too Easy” ft. Future, along with the Roddy Ricch-assisted remix.

As the album’s tracklist made the rounds across social media, the YSL Records signee used the opportunity to reignite a feud with former foe Freddie Gibbs. Back in 2020, Freddie Gibbs subliminally called Gunna a snitch after video surfaced of the latter appearing on what was speculated to be an episode of Crime Stoppers. It was a speculation Gunna firmly denied in an interview with The Breakfast Club.

DS4 Ever is a 20 track effort with a number of features including Drake, Young Thug, G Herbo, 21 Savage, Kodak Black, Lil Baby, Chris Brown and more! Tap in to the latest installment of the Drip Season series now.
