Back in May of last year, Bun B and Cory Mo connected with a powerful single titled “This World,” which featured Big K.R.I.T., Trae Tha Truth, and Raheem DeVaughn and was centered around the collaborators’ thoughts on what had been happening (and continues to happen) to Black lives. Just before 2022 arrived, Bun B and Cory Mo returned with another big offering titled “Hesitate” — this time, Bun B, Talib Kweli, David Banner, and Tobe Nwigwe can be heard reflecting on their lives, their faith, and much more over Cory Mo’s uplifting production:

“Lately I’ve been puttin’ my life into perspective, reflective of my past, bеin’ retrospective, lookin’ at thе good and the bad, then my early days, wonderin’ if I still got a path to the pearly gates, life wasn’t always the way that it is today, you can take me there, I’m losin’ my life just to pray, but nowadays, I’m more conscious of my ways, and all it takes is me wakin’ up to give Him praise, came a long way from who I was and what I did once…”

Just a little over a full year ago, Bun B teamed up with Le$ for the six-track EP Distant. Prior to that, the UGK legend connected with Statik Selektah for the criminally slept-on TrillStatik back in 2019. That project initially came with 10 songs and a wealth of contributions from Method Man, Fat Joe, Smoke DZA, Westside Gunn, Uncle Murda, Killa Kyleon, and more — about a week later, fans would received a Deluxe edition with four additional songs. Bun B‘s fifth and last solo LP, Return of the Trill, made landfall a year prior.

Press play on Bun B, Cory Mo, Tobe Nwigwe, David Banner, and Talib Kweli’s “Hesitate.” As previously announced by Bun B and Cory Mo, the track will appear on the duo forthcoming joint effort Mo Trill.
