Yung Bleu says his producer price is on the rise after landing a placement from Lil Wayne. The “You’re Mines Still” singer, who just recently started producing beats under the moniker Moon Boy, celebrated the Wayne collaboration on social media this week.

“Man Lil Wayne, the goat, just hopped on my FUCKING beat it’s overrr! Yesterday’s price is not today price I been making beats for a week!” he tweeted on Monday (Dec. 27). “Kodak [Black] now WAYNE. PRODUCED BY: Moon Boy.”

In an Instagram post, he added, “N****S AND GENTLEMEN LIL FUCKING WAYNE JUST DID A WHOLE SONG TO ONE OF MY BEATS WTFFFFFFF. MAN FUCK THAT YESTERDAY PRICE NOT TODAY PRICE YOU N****S CANT TELL ME SHIT NOW ION WANNA HEAR NUN OF DAT SHIT BOI 2022 I’m fenna be a dangerous azz n***a mane.”

In a follow-up video, Bleu said his producer asking price is now $50,000 per beat.

“TO ALL YALL N****S WHO WAS TALKIN SHIITTT! LIL WAYNE PLACEMENT!!!! I want 50!” he said. “Should got it’s when it was cheap yesterday price not today price what ya say.”

Prior to getting Wayne on a track, Bleu linked up with producer Turbo and said he provided beats for Kodak Black, Asian Doll and CEO Verse. Bleu made the call for potential collaborations last Tuesday (Dec. 21), tweeting, “Bout to start making beats what artist wanna lock in with me.”

Lil Wayne’s placement would be a big deal to any producer, especially this early in their career. However, for Bleu, the collaboration also holds sentimental value, as the 27-year-old recently told HotNewHipHop that Wayne is one of his favorite artists.

“Lil Wayne is definitely one of my favorite rappers,” Bleu said at the time, noting that Weezy’s music challenged other rapper to “see how creative they can get” with their writing and punchlines.
