LaKeith Stanfield trolls Omarion over Omicron joke: "You ruining Christmas for everybody"
LaKeith Stanfield kept the “Omarion” variant joke going this Christmas.
Fans of Omarion are still having fun comparing the “Ice Box” singer’s name to the Omicron COVID-19 variant. With many people having to change their holiday plans due to the virus’ most-dominant mutation, actor LaKeith Stanfield kept the joke going over the weekend by sliding into Omarion’s DMs.
“You ruining Christmas for everybody smh,” The Harder They Fall star messaged Omarion on Instagram.
Stanfield also took a screenshot of the message and shared the joke with his Instagram followers on Sunday (Dec. 26), writing, “I’m weak i wonder if he’s gunna respond.”
As REVOLT readers will remember, news of the latest Coronavirus variant caused Omarion’s name to trend on Twitter as users cracked jokes about the similarity between the two.
With COVID-19 forcing many people to alter their holiday and travel plans for a second year in a row, sometimes all we can do is laugh through the pain. Even Omarion chuckled at the joke while wishing his fans good health on Christmas Eve (Dec. 24).
Stanfield hasn’t revealed whether Omarion has responded to his joke yet, but the “Pose to Be” singer seems to have a good sense of humor toward the comparison. See Stanfield’s post about the message he sent Omarion on Instagram below.
