This past weekend, KO unveiled his latest body of work Fine Line, which — along with its amazing artwork — depicts the rapper‘s struggle to maintain his current success began of his street-oriented past. The project comes with 13 cuts and additional features from close compadres Unknown T, Billy Billions, DA, and Morgan.
Led by well-received visuals for “Do It For” and the mixtape’s intro, KO decided to coincide the release of Fine Line with another clip for “Money On My Head,” a NatsGotTracks-produced effort that sees the drill star rapping about avoiding the law while staying true to himself and remaining focused on the bag:
“Them man are full of trap, could’ve been slammed, got a smile when I’m lookin’ back, hit an opp’s strip, he’s paigon and shavin’, they won’t know we done it, still it’s us that they’re blamin’, they snitch K’s nicked, set me free, always kept it G when they question me, I can never break, I can’t interlude, so there’s nothin’ they can use in my interviews, snitchin’s always disapproved…”
The mostly grayscale video for “Money On My Head” comes courtesy of Mad Brothers Productions and sees KO delivering his bars while surrounded by a crew of masked men. He can also be seen handling stacks of money throughout, an obvious reference to the song’s title.
Fine Line follows 2019’s Drilliam Shakespeare, which came with nine cuts and contributions from Jimmy, Gunna Dee, and V9 — the last of whom recently dropped his own full-length Murk With A Mouth. Prior to that, KO delivered the well-received This Sh#ts Ments, which saw collaborations alongside Toaozay, Kilo Keemzo, Alchubbino, Mazza, and a couple of those previously mentioned.
