“Southside, Clayco, where I’m from means everything to me. My biggest song is titled after where I’m from,” says Latto in her most recent Instagram visual, posted just hours before her next release as a reminder of her Southern pride. Her brand new single “Soufside” just arrived today (Nov. 5), and is another example of her repping her roots. On the new track, she shows off her signature, raunchy flow:

Big Latto, dope as gelato (Yeah) Ho on my dick for a follow (Han)/ Nasty lil’ bitch and I swallow (Han) drink that shit straight out the bottle (Han)/ Fuck it, I’m runnin’ shit up (Yeah) murk a rap bitch is a must (Yeah) two-tone Glock and it’s tucked (Yeah)

The Georgia-bred artist is reportedly putting the final touches on her forthcoming sophomore album right now. So far this year, Big Latto has delivered strong solo singles like “Stank” and “The Biggest,” but her latest one “Big Energy” may be her most infectious offernig yet. Also recently, Latto can be heard alongside Don Toliver and Lil Durk on the F9 The Fast Saga official soundtrack, and she also linked up with Chris Brown, Future, and Young Thug for the official remix of Breezy’s summertime anthem “Go Crazy.”

Big Latto dropped off her debut Queen of da Souf last year. Equipped with 13 records in total, she grabbed a great list of features including Gucci Mane, City Girls, 21 Savage, Saweetie, Trina and more for the original version of the project, with Lil Baby being the only new addition. The project was led by her successful singles “Muwop” featuring Gucci Mane and “B*tch From Da Souf” featuring Saweetie and Trina. Since then she’s contributed her bars to dope collab tracks like Jacquees’ “Freaky As Me.”

Be sure to press play on Latto’s brand new single “Soufside.”
