Baby Tate is celebrating her new name and new record deal with Warner Records in the best fashion: by releasing her highly anticipated new single “Pedi.” The new offering is paired with a Norton-directed visual that cuts back to back to vibrant scenes as rapid as the beat. On the track, Tate embraces pettiness and warns others to not try her:

I’m a petty ass bitch, don’t try me I’m a petty ass bitch, don’t try me/ I’ll send a screenshot to your mommy, don’t trip ‘cause that shit won’t fly, please/ I’m a petty ass bitch, don’t try me, I’m a petty ass bitch, don’t try me

I’m a petty ass B-I-T-C-H, somebody finna cry if it don’t go my way/ You n***as better tread lightly, okay? Yeah they call me baby but a bitch don’t play/ I’ll fuck a bitch man, don’t like him, just wanted her to know that he’ll nevеr wife her/ I told my nigga that I’m fucking on his friend, so his brokе ass won’t hit me up again/

Baby Tate joined the cast of VH1’s Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta for the hit show’s 10th season, which premiered in July. She capped off her summer with a set at the Afropunk festival in Atlanta. Tate also recently provided another stand-out feature when she joined Mia Rodriguez in “Billion Dollar Bitch.”

Back in May, Yung Baby Tate unleashed the deluxe version of her 2020 project After The Rain. She then made another return to revamp the well-received project once again, this time teaming up with DJ Hollygrove to slow down the pace a bit and give After The Rain the chopped and screwed treatment. The original After The Rain project included seven new tracks and features from Flo Milli and 6lack. She has made sure to drop off a few visuals to make her tracks come to life, including ones for “Eenie Meenie” and the Flo Milli-assisted “I Am.”
