50 Cent says Jada Pinkett Smith’s comments make her relationship look “weak”
Earlier this week, Jada said that maintaining a sex life with Will Smith was “hard.”
On Thursday night (Oct. 28), the “Many Men” emcee took to Instagram to speak about the situation after Jada revealed that maintaining a sex life with her husband was difficult. “Why she keep doing shit like this?” 50 captioned an image of the Smiths. “It makes the relationship appear weak. First an entanglement now this, come on! WTF.”
Earlier this week, Jada shared details about her sex life — or lack thereof — with the I Am Legend actor on her “Red Table Talk” platform.
“It’s hard,” she said. “The thing Will and I talk about a lot is the journey. We started in this at a very young age, you know, 22 years old. That’s why the accountability part really hit for me because I think you expect your partner to know [what you need], especially when it comes to sex. It’s like, ‘Well if you love me, you should know. If you love me, you should read my mind.’ That’s a huge pitfall.”
She then gave viewers a solution to how she and Will keep their sex life going after being married for so many years. “You tell me what you need. Tell me what you want, and on top of it, I know that I have to be accountable to do the same…,” the Set It Off actress said.
“I really try. It’s uncomfortable, but it’s deeply healthy, and I think around sex, because it’s something that we don’t talk about, and there’s so much fantasy around it.”
After her remarks made major headlines and became the butt of jokes and memes throughout social media, Jada took to Twitter to clarify her comments by accusing sites of “making up headlines.” The actress also said she and her husband have NEVER had an issue in the bedroom.
