Strick has recruited Swae Lee for his latest single “Play Stupid” and the two made sure to deliver a smooth visual to match. The new track arrives shortly after his previous 2021 offering “Bad Girl” with Kaash Paige. On the track. Swae opens it up with his vocals and sets the tone for the calm, sensual jam:

Shawty made my other girl dip (Dip, oh, oh-oh, oh) if I was to love her, she would leave me with shit (Shit, oh, oh-oh, oh)/ Still tryna play Cupid, I don’t play mind games, I don’t play stupid (No, no)/

We can take a ride in the Urus (Skrr) spend it all, I got more, don’t even trip (Trip)/ Last night we was too lit (Lit) we don’t have pics, but we was too lit (Yeah, too lit)/ Oh, oh, your body’s a perfection, you told me close the door

This year, Strick landed on Slime Language 2 alongside Skepta for their collab track “WokStar.” Prior to that were singles like the Young Thug and Ty Dolla $ign-assisted “Yacht Club” and “Protect Your Heart.” His last full-length project was The Machine, Vol. 2, which was the second installment of a series he started in 2019.

Swae Lee is gearing up to present his forthcoming album and he’s already released a slew of loose singles this year, including “Someone Said,” “Reality Check,” and “Dance Like No One’s Watching.” He’s also contributed to plenty of music from his peers, including French Montana’s “Out Of Your Mind,” Arizona Zervas’ “Roxanne (Remix),” Kane Brown’s “Be Like That,” Internet Money’s “Thrusting,” and the late Pop Smoke’s “Creature.” More recently, he team up with Jhene Aiko for their “In The Dark” single on the Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings official soundtrack.
