Back in April, rising star 804 Nano teamed up with fellow Virginia native Fresh Porter for the hard-hitting “Neck Of The Woods.” This past weekend (Sept. 24), he followed that up with “BUSS IT,” a MaThePostman-produced effort that sees him getting straight to the point for anybody that wants to cross him or his team:
“‘Til they drop a hunnid band or better, I ain’t signing, once you press that button, bitch it’s up, you can’t rewind it, er’y nigga stepped in here wit’ me on gangsta timin’, tell yo’ baby mama, fuck that pussy out the linin’, let a nigga play at one my shows, then it get ugly, think he got a lick and I’ma fire him up in public…”
Directed by Jordan Gonzalez, the accompanying clip for “BUSS IT” takes viewers into the heart of 804 Nano’s Petersburg stomping grounds. Nano and his crew eventually converge upon his city’s Old Towne district and a packed nightclub, with woman and high-end vehicles seen throughout.
Via press release, Nano further explained the song’s creation, which turned out to be happenstance:
“I heard the beat playing during someone else’s studio session and immediately asked who made the beat and told the engineer to put it in my folder. I wanted to make something catchy and straight to the point. It’s guaranteed to make you move. An energetic street anthem. Raw, real, descriptive yet simple.”
Back in April, 804 Nano liberated his latest body of work Anaconda Vice, an 11-track body of work that was hosted by 106.5 The Beat’s Kool DJ Foot. In addition to his aforementioned collab with Porter, Anaconda Vice also contained additional contributions from Mari2x, Gsambo, Tkay Tkay, TV Tae, and Cheatcode Blacc.
Press play on 804 Nano’s “Buss It” video below. His forthcoming full-length effort, said to be titled Pain Turnt Me Up, is said to be on the way.
