It has been said plenty of times, but it’s going to be said again — Curren$y is one of the greatest, most consistent artists to ever grace the industry. If you’re reading this and can name another rapper that’s currently pumping out four plus [quality] projects in a single year, please step forward because this is unreal. Of course there has been an abundance of great music gifted to us left and right this year and we’re all grateful, but credit is due where it is due. Spitta linking up with the distinguished Kino Beats for a full length project is the formula you did not know you needed until now. Today (Sept 17), the two bless our ears with the release of their latest effort Matching Rolexes and if you know how these two mesh together, you already know the project is laced with nothing but audio dope from top to bottom, inside and out.

The Jet Life head huncho is a vet in the game but he’s still moving like he is a fresh artist trying to get his name out. The rate he’s pumping out quality content at such a high level is unheard of and those who don’t really know the magnitude of Spitta’s work ethic will be confused by reading this, but the quality and content is all there for scientific purposes. Recently, Andretti took to his Twitter to announce not one, but seven projects he’d be releasing before the end of 2021. With the Trauma Tone produced Highest In Charge being the first drop of this ferocious run, Matching Rolexes is the strong follow up to keep the momentum going.

Per Kino Beats, the project came about in a studio session with the two: “It all started with this photo. And brother @traumatone says ‘both yall niggas got on Rolexes — matching rolexes’ and just like that… the project was born.”

Tap into Matching Rolexes now.
