Fans praise Lil Durk for using verse on Drake’s ‘Certified Lover Boy’ to support girlfriend India’s business

Fans respect Durkio’s verse.

For a while now, Lil Durk and his girlfriend India Royale have been an emblem of relationship goals, and that status isn’t going anywhere soon.

Appearing on Drake’s new Certified Lover Boy album, a project that was released on Friday (Sept. 3), Durk used his guest verse on the project to plug India’s cosmetics company in hilariously blatant fashion. Naturally, the internet was quick to eat it up.

“Durk promoted India business in the middle of his song he DEFINITELY understood the assignment,” wrote one Twitter user. “Nigga Durk said “India royal cosmetics, im just promoting my bitch, Drake songs do a billion streams fo sho, im just promoting her shit” real nigga,” wrote another.

Another Twitter use asked the universe for a love like the one Durk and India share. “I wanna be loved like Lil Durk love India he love his bitch fr,” she wrote.

In the verse, which unfolds on Drake’s new CLB song “In the Bible,” Durk goes all out to give shine to India’s luxury makeup brand, India Royale Beauty, and he doesn’t even come close to trying to hide it.

“India Royale cosmetic, I’m just promoting my bitch/Drake song do a billion streams for sure, I’m just promoting her shit,” Durk raps on the song.

Durk’s reasoning for mentioning India’s brand on wax was clear from the jump, and he was proven right before CLB had even been out a full day. According to Chart Data, it only took 12 hours for the LP to become the all-time leader in single-day album streams on Apple Music. That same day, it was announced that CLB broke the same record for Spotify. So yeah, good call by Durk.
