“Please go create memories with ya people,” he wrote.

Brentt Leakes, the son of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” stars Gregg and Nene Leakes, shared an emotional message about making memories with your loved ones, just one day before news surfaced of his father’s passing.

On Tuesday (Aug. 31), the 22-year-old took to his Instagram Story to share his thoughts.“Spend time with your loved ones every chance you get,” he wrote. “Time is so fucking valuable dog. I can’t express it. I’m learning the hard way watching my dad fight every day. Please go create memories with ya people.”

Earlier this year, NeNe revealed that Gregg’s cancer had returned. He was admitted into the hospital for surgery and was supposed to be released within days, however, he stayed there for six weeks after his illness worsened tremendously.

Just days before Brentt posted his message, his mom revealed that Gregg was “transitioning to the other side” and only had days left to live. “Give us some love, okay? You see my son right here, he’s hurting, I’m hurting,” she said during an impromptu announcement at her new lounge last Saturday (Aug. 28). “We walked in here because we have to walk in here ‘cause we have this business, but my husband is losing his life at this very moment.”

On Wednesday (Sept. 1), Ernest Dukes, the family’s publicist and close friend, released a statement revealing that Gregg sadly passed away.

“Today the Leakes family is in deep pain with a broken heart,” the statement read. “After a long battle with cancer, Gregg Leakes has passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by all of his children, very close loved ones and wife Nene Leakes. We ask that you pray for peace and strength over their family & allow them to mourn in private during this very, very difficult time.”

The REVOLT team is sending our thoughts and prayers to the Leakes family. Check out Brentt’s post below.
