“She’s super detail oriented, obviously, as you can see from her work,” he said.

The celebration for the 18th anniversary of JAY-Z’s 40/40 Club turned out to be a star-studded event Saturday (Aug. 28). Beyoncé, Swizz Beatz, Megan Thee Stallion, Pusha T, Busta Rhymes, Van Jones, Fabolous, Victor Cruz, Lil Uzi Vert, Vic Mensa and many more were in attendance. Hov opened his first 40/40 Club in New York City in 2003 and would later build more locations of the fancy sports bar in Atlantic City, Las Vegas and Brooklyn.

Outside of the event, on the blue carpet, Mr. Carter stopped to speak with “Entertainment Tonight” about working with Mrs. Carter. “She’s super detail oriented, obviously, as you can see from her work,” he said. “She’s an incredibly hard worker, super talented, very inspiring.”

Creatively, JAY and Bey have put together some epic collaborations. They have countless hits like “Crazy in Love,” “‘03 Bonnie & Clyde” and “Upgrade U.” Plus, who can forget about their 2014 “On the Run Tour” or their most recent campaign for Tiffany & Co.? Regardless of the controversies, the pair are a dynamic duo and their business moves have been inspiring to watch.

The 40/40 Club franchise owner recently became a part of sports apparel retailer Fanatics betting and gaming endeavors. JAY is on the company’s board of directors and serves as vice chairman. He discussed what the move means to him and talked about the mobile sports betting business in New York with “Entertainment Tonight” as well.

“New York City’s a big thing, obviously, [I’m] a kid from Brooklyn, you know, so it’s big for us. [It’s] very exciting,” he said. “It’s very important because typically in these things there’s no sort of diversity, there’s no one that represents the city, no one from the city. So, all those things make it a real exciting opportunity.”

Michael Rubin, who is the executive chairman of Fanatics, shared some kind words with People Magazine on the blue carpet about his business partner Hov. Rubin said JAY is the “most normal, greatest guy on the planet.” “That’s one of the things I love so much about him, he’s just a regular great guy with a giant heart. He’s always looking to make the world a better place,” he added. “He comes by, he’s such a great family guy. He’s always hanging out with his mom and his kids and doing so many special things. I’ve never seen someone so successful and so big at one time, be such a great human being.”
