Destiny Rogers has released her newest single “Simon Say” over the weekend and she tapped in with Flo Milli for the assist. The track follows Rogers’ recent cuts like last month’s “What I Like” and “West Like” featuring Kalan.FrFr. The new “Simon Say” track features production from Stereotypes and was co-written by Ant Clemons. On the track, Flo slides in with her smooth guest verse:
Flo Milli shit, he gon’ do what I want, that boy gon’ do what I say/ Fuck them other groupie bitches, they ain’t got what it take/ I make him eat it, eat it up n***a, what you feenin’ for, they say she on a roll, ain’t nobody seein’ her
If he want it, bet not let up, he know he fuckin’ with pressure/ I’m too groovy for these n***as, so I be too quick to forget him, think he used to this, got that n***a losin’ it/ He blowin’ my line, yeah, but that ain’t really provin’ shit (No, oh, provin’ shit, provin’ shit)
Rogers made sure to share a few words of appreciation along with the drop. “I’m so excited to finally have ‘Simon Say’ out! This song is about being a boss, knowing what you’re capable of, and not letting anyone hold you down,” she types. “There’s no one with better boss energy to get on this record than my girl Flo Milli! She killed it and I’m so excited for everyone to turn up to this one.”
Most recently, Flo Milli gave a notable assist to Yung Baby Tate in the vibrant and confident “I Am” visual. Flo Milli released her Ho, Why Is You Here? project in July last year, a 12-track body of work with no features to ensure her confidence shines. Flo has shared assists on numerous singles, including “Element (Remix)” by PJ, “Better Be” by Big Freedia, “HOT (Remix)” by Pia Mia featuring Sean Paul, “Mean” by $not, and her own singles like “Weak,” “Eat It Up,” and “Like That Bitch.”
