“Vibe responsibly.”

Proudly hailing from the Bronx, Capella Grey is making his home city proud with his hit record “Gyalis.” Originally released at the very top of the year, the track organically gained steam across New York City and eventually garnered official co-signs from music industry staples like Elliott Willson and Ebro, and even got A Boogie to hop on a remix of his own. The track is currently sitting at the No. 71 slot on the Billboard Hot 100.

It was only right Capella took to the Uptown streets for the official music video. The BX artist actually recorded a visual months ago when the track was initially picking up steam, but now decided to do it even bigger now that the single has risen to a new level of popularity. The Brennan Rowe-directed video was finally unleashed today (Aug 26), and sees Capella Grey vibing in a sea of fans who eagerly came out take part in the shoot.

Right from the opening clip, hundreds of supporters scream the lyrics in unison:

I see her, she came with her n***a/ Mmm, but she gon’ slide right to my side, I know, she pulled up with her friends/ Then we skrrt off in the Benz, took her back to my crib and I regret it/ ‘Cause she tryna, fake like she asleep, swear she tried to stay the whole week

I’m like, “Oh, nah, she gotta go,” ask me her name, I swear I don’t even fuckin’ know/ They wanna know why di gyal dem deh pon me? Dem eye green, dem mind just set pon mi?/ They wanna know why dem love him off so much?/ Like, what is the reason?

Notably, the music video shines the spotlight on the lite feet community, as Grey has made sure to credit them along the way for helping to blow up the song. Last year, Capella Grey dropped off his project The QuaranTape Vibe 1. Right now, he’s continuing to ride the momentum of “Gyalis” with plenty more in store.
