So it turns out that Quavo’s assistant might be richer than most rappers.

In a Tuesday (Aug. 3) Instagram post, Huncho claimed that his assistant gets paid $5,000 a day and, as a result of this fee, is actually a millionaire.

Quavo made the claim in the caption for the post, which includes an image of himself and his assistant Joshua Washington, who’s holding an umbrella over the both of them. “5k a Day My Asst. A Millionaire,” wrote Huncho.

Now, needless to say, that’s quite the income. If the assistant works five days a week, that’s $25,000 every seven days. That equals $100,000 a month. Obviously, over a year, that’s over $1 million before taxes. Needless to say, that’s not bad.

Quavo’s IG post is both a flex for his assistant and Huncho himself, as his ability to pay an assistant that much is a sign that he’s doing it big. That’s something he’s been doing a lot of recently.

Back in June, he and the rest of Migos unloaded Culture III, an LP that debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. In addition to the commercial accomplishment, the project earned the praise of JAY-Z, who praised one song in particular shortly after the album’s release. The exchange played out in a text message exchange Huncho shared through his Instagram account.

“That Avalanche song is beautiful,” reads one part of JAY-Z’s text. “Congrats to you and the guys on the album. Peace God!” Quavo was quick to respond to Roc Nation boss. “Thanks OG,” an appreciative Quavo wrote. “We Put Everything We Had Into This One.”

Clearly, going all in has led to big rewards for Quavo and the rest of his clique. Check out his IG post about his assistant’s pay for yourself below.
