Last Friday (July 30), Tink dropped off her Heat of the Moment, which is executive produced by Hitmaka himself. The Chicago-bred artist wasted no time delivering visuals from the album, and first up is the official video for the title track. The new Daniel CZ-directed clip sees Tink in her element as she takes center stage in a beautiful body of water. As the striking setting surrounds her, she delivers her opening bars about dealing with pressure:

Same bitch, it’s just a different level, brought a dress, I’m dancin’ with the devil/ On my shoulders, got more weight than ever, heat of the moment, I won’t feel no pressure/ Late nights, my thoughts be runnin’ wild

Fake a smile, but I’ll be shuttin’ down, so-called friends, I’m like, “Where are you now?”/ When I need you, nowhere to be found/ Will they still hate me when it’s all over? Lately, them nights been gettin’ colder

The newly released Heat of the Moment album is equipped with 14 tracks and a solid list of features. The assists include names like Jeremih, Davido, Yung Bleu, and Kodak Black. Preceding the full release was her Yung Bleu-assisted single “Selfish,” which was released last month.

The last project Tink blessed fans with was her A Gift and a Curse EP, which she released on Christmas last year. Prior to that project release, Tink shared her other 2020 body of work release Hopeless Romantic, which was also released on a holiday (Valentine’s Day). In 2020, Tink also released her single “Perfect.” Before that was 2019’s Voicemails, which included a lone feature from Dej Loaf.
