Jim Jones is busy at work in the studio — he and producer Scram Jones are said to be putting the finishing touches on the joint effort The Jones’s. To get fans ready, the duo liberate a new single from said project titled “Filet Mignon,” which features Fabolous and Eric Bellinger and sees the artists boasting about their rich lifestyles:

“She said she feelin’ like a Ruth Chris night, had one better, Ruth Chris on a flight, share one charter, two trips for the night, I’m a stand up nigga, but my coupe sittin’ right, told her butterfly my filet mignon, she said she had that WAP like it’s Evian, you know I ate the box until my plate was gone, hoppin’ out the drop, all my plates was gone…”

Matching the song’s lavish subject matter, the Shula The Don-shot clip sees the artists on a Bahamian excursion, living it up the best way they know how. Viewers can see Jim & Co. on private flights, mobbing heavy by the water, hitting the bar, and riding around in Lambo trucks.

Even with the aforementioned body of work, Jim Jones isn’t done — he’s also reconnected with his Byrd Gang collective for a new album as well. First, he, Dyce Payso, and Shoota connect for “Hip Hop,” adding in a video that sees the crew channeling the culture’s beginnings with a function at a park basketball court. Juelz Santana, Dave East, and ByrdGang 2.0 members Fat Flee, Keen Streetz, Yellow Tapee, and Glit Jeezus make appearances in the nostalgic clip.

Press play on both “Filet Mignon” and “Hip Hop” below. In related news, Jim Jones will be joining Cam’ron and the rest of Dipset in a “Verzuz” battle against the equally iconic New York group The LOX — it all goes down August 3 in Madison Square Garden.
