Lil Durk appears on Kanye West’s 10th studio album despite earlier claims that he was no longer a feature.

Last week, after Justin LaBoy was spotted with Ye at a Big3 basketball game, he teased fans with information about Donda. Amid his feedback, he claimed that the project would be a “classic,” and revealed that Lil Baby was one of the features he heard on the album. The posts triggered a response from Durk, who commented with what appeared to be feelings of regret for missing the opportunity to be on Yeezy’s new album.

“I missed the jet,” the “All Love” rapper wrote at the time. “Well next time.”

With recent reports that Durk and his girlfriend, India Royale, were forced to protect themselves from intruders who attempted to break into their Atlanta home, many instantly believed the artist and, like him, looked forward to seeing a Durk and Kanye collab in the future. According to a recent tweet, however, the Chicago emcee was telling a lie.

On Thursday (July 22), during Ye’s listening party for Donda, fans heard a verse from Durk and immediately started questioning his presence on the album, prompting him to respond with an explanation. “I lied,” tweeted the “Backdoor” star. “I made Ye jet lol.”

Durk is reportedly one of many features on Yeezy’s new project. A tracklist released earlier this week revealed that Playboi Carti, Tyler, the Creator; Ty Dolla $ign, Lil Baby and Post Malone are on the album. During Thursday night’s listening party in Atlanta, fans were elated to learn that JAY-Z also makes an appearance on the record.

As of this story, the wait for Kanye’s new album continues. As fans wait for the record to be released, others are roasting the artist for his failure to drop the project on time. “Kanye West sold out a stadium for his listening party and just walked the floor and said nothing. Then didn’t even release his album. Legendary Kanye shit,” one fan tweeted.
